Soli Deo Gloria
Benjamin Isachsen (Soprano) | Magne H. Draagen (Organ) | Elise Båtnes (Violin)
THE SEQUEL TO THE MUCH-LAUDED CD «CANTO ERGO SUM»!
Lovely songs performed by a brilliant boy soprano! «Soli Deo Gloria» has a calming effect. The beautiful harmonies nurture peace of mind and impart consolation, warmth, and hope. One does not feel so alone in the world after all. This is a recording which seeks common ground between classical music and folk tunes. The breadth of the music Benjamin has selected showcases his musicality, the quality of his voice, and his ability to express himself.
Excerpts from reviews of his debut CD «Canto Ergo Sum»:
«A piercingly pure boy soprano!» – Hroar Klempe-Adresseavisen
«So melodious it sends shivers down your spine.» – Kjell Hillveg-Dagsavisen
