About André Lislevand
André
Lislevand was born
in Verona. As the son of lutenist parents he collaborated from an early age with
various ensembles and orchestras including Ensemble Kapsberger, Tonhalle-Orchester
Zürich and the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, performing in some of Europe’s
most prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall and Muziekgebouw Amsterdam. As a
young boy he had the chance to study privately with Jordi Savall, and later
studied under Paolo Pandolfo at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, continuing at
the Mozarteum in Salzburg. His debut album Forqueray Unchained (Arcana Outhere, 2021) was rewarded
with a Diapason Découverte and received critical acclaim.
